Mountain magic in Kandersteg 🏔️
I had such a lekker time here! Claudia and Gerhard are the best hosts, always going the extra mile to. The brekkie was great, especially the fresh croissants, and I loved chilling in the wellness spa. The cozy vibe of the place is just perfect!
Only slight issue was the shower being a bit snug, but honestly, it didn't ruin my stay at all.

The hotel offers cosy, immaculate rooms with mountain view, a balcony, amazing views. It boasts a marvellous and gorgeous location; not far from the gondola up to Lake Oeschinsen, which is a must if staying in Kandersteg, and supermarket that close at 9pm.

The room size is amazing, this is probably the only room that i saw that is so big.... From the balcony I can see the mountain and the two way street below
Having internet access should not be an option in any hotel... this hotel has a computer in the lobby with internet and a printer...... it would have been better if they can provide a free wifi

The beds were dark ages hard, definitely not for someone with refined taste. And arriving in the rain to a bare lobby without a cute gesture? Unacceptable. To top it off, a simple bottle of water in my room woudl ve been nice. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The staff was amazing. The owners were ever present, ensuring that guests were happy and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. The jewel of this hotel is a location that cannot be beat; it is quite literally across the street from the path to the lift to Oesshinensee and an easy walk to all of Kandersteg. I would definately return, and recommend to others!

The owners were wonderful. Everyone was very courtious and helpful. The location could not have been better. There was free access to the computer, they spoke English, and there was a wonderful afternoon tea and cake. The breakfast was also very nice. The view out of our window was spectacular. We would stay there again.
